Absence of Evidence does not mean Evidence of Absence: Message from Editors
The growth of the evidence base is inviolately related to the variability of the quality within the accumulated evidences, and the problem of their correct interpretation and analysis, results of which are used for the formulation of the most scientifically based and clinically significant conclusions. The stage of correct information processing at the present time has taken its obviously dominant place within the hierarchical structure of scientific and technological progress. Only correctly selected, properly processed and rightly analyzed information is a reliable source for professional training and development of dentists.
Third issue of the «Ukrainian Dental Journal» characterized by a significant variability of the presented topics, thus demonstrating the multi-vector nature of the dental science development at the present time, a time of unrestrained digitization and a time of revision and detailing for already established morphological concepts.
In this issue readers will get acquainted with comprehensive analysis of all available for today systematic reviews, dedicated to the topic of MARPE technique effectiveness within orthodontic practice in comparison with other approaches to the treatment of the maxillary transverse dimensions deficiency. In addition, the issue presents and systematizes relevant criteria for the diagnosis of maxillary odontogenic sinusitis, based on the most current data of the evidence base, which can be of great help to clinicians. Also, the issue will acquaint readers with the newest approaches to scaffold formation during regenerative endodontic procedures, which will support deeper understanding of the advantages, disadvantages, and peculiarities of the implementation for each of them. One of the journal’s publications highlights the problem of using the signs and consequences of endodontic treatment as evidences during the course of comparative dental identification, and details the role of endodontics for the practice of forensic dentistry in general. Such wide range of presented research topics inspires faith in the progress and constant development of dental science in Ukraine and abroad, faith in the struggle that really matters, faith in the victory of reason over ignorance, in the victory of good over evil.

Clinical Consensus Issues in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: A Message from the Editors
The value of clinical science based on its continued and permanent development, correction or revision of views on postulates that were previously interpreted as constant, while also on considering changes or, contrary, even deeper rooting of classical paradigms, their additions and framing over time and progress.
Considering this "Ukrainian Dental Journal" continues its publishing activity, introducing domestic and international readers with new achievements in the dental field, new evidences regarding effectiveness of specific clinical approaches, and new views on the changes that await us in the future. The future that has already come, the future that will be waiting for us tomorrow.
The second issue of our periodical journal is devoted to the issue of comprehensive dental treatment of patients with various forms of developmental dentoalveolar disorders. In particular, this issue represents first time available objective data on the prevalence and main causes of delayed eruption of permanent teeth among Ukrainian children, who need targeted orthodontic interventions. In addition, the second issue of the journal includes the results of systematization of data regarding possibilities of dental rehabilitation of the pediatric patients with a diagnosis of ectodermal dysplasia, who are the youngest patients with need of dental implantation. The pages of the journal also highlight the peculiarities of orthodontic camouflage treatment based on a detailed analysis of a specific clinical case and an extensive literature review. All these topics reflect not only the need to find consensus clinical solutions for the treatment of patients with various forms of dentoalveolar disorders, but also emphasize the existing dilemma of differentiating such between the categories of adaptive "norm" and actual "pathology". In addition, dental interventions in patients with various forms of dentoalveolar anomalies are also a tool for patients socialization and improvement of their quality of life. That is why these scientific works are always relevant, and the achieved results are of unique importance!
Clinically useful for readers will also be a publication that presents an improved oral hygiene algorithm adapted to the needs of orthodontic patients with fixed types of orthodontic devices.
And final article dedicated to the modern trends of using artificial intelligence in endodontic practice: how clinically appropriate and promising are modern machine learning protocols in the dental field?
Information about all of this in the smallest details and in the format of international cooperation’s results can be found on the pages of the second issue of the "Ukrainian Dental Journal".

We have created this publication with the intention of providing a space for the generation of knowledge, dialogue, critique, debate, and collaboration among an international community of dental practitioners and scholars as well as representatives related specialties.
The immediacy of e-based submissions makes it possible for us all to be fully connected to maintaining researches, discoveries and practical developments in our field and to be directly involved in ongoing knowledge construction.
